Shoshana Litman is Canada's first ordained Maggidah (a female Jewish storyteller, inspirational speaker and teacher). She received ordination (S'micha) in May 2008 from Maggid Yitzhak Buxbaum of Brooklyn.

Shoshana's storytelling, teaching and singing inspires listeners to awaken to the deeper joys of life. Her performances delight audiences of all ages. Shoshana's interactive performances are suitable for secular or spiritual events, classrooms, workshops, conferences and festivals.

Shoshana provides lively storytimes for local Child Care Centres and Programs such as Gnome's Home, Strong Start and Shalom as well as Tale Time Fun Birthday Parties on request. She also performs in a variety of venues for adults, including musical stories with World Folk Duo, Kouskous, and offers fascinating Historical Tours of Canada's oldest surviving synagogue. Shoshana posts for the Times Colonist Newspaper's Spiritually Speaking Blog. She is a member of the Victoria Storyteller's Guild and Storytellers of Canada/Conteurs du Canada.
